Electrosurgical Neutral Electrodes

 

SKINTACT neutral self-adhesive, disposable electrodes are replacing reusable rubber neutral electrodes. Available in different sizes and shapes, they are easy to use, reliable and comfortable for the patient

Characteristics of neutral electrodes:

• SKINTACT neutral electrodes are available with or without cable.

• 100% compatible with all major types of electrosurgical generators (including neutral electrode with protective SPLIT systems: Valleylab - REM and Erbe - NESSY).
• Overlapping gel reduces risk of incident as aluminium edge exposure is eliminated.

• Softer hydrogel is kinder to skin and creates a better interface between patient and plate facilitating a more efficient electrical contact.

• Round leading edge geometry disperses current more efficiently thus maintaining a cooler interface between patient and plate.

• Low skin contact impedance ensures the plate stays as cool as possible during use.
